Relaunch 2019

So. It’s been a year since the last hunt and if anything, Austin’s cocktail scene has only gotten better. With new speakeasy openings happening what seems like every month, there are plenty of new options to add to the tour, and with them new Sazeracs to try.

But that’s not all. Along with the new hunt, I’m going to attempt to make some resolutions. I’d like there to be a reason for this site to exist for more than just the couple weeks a year leading up to the main event, and with a friend’s new cocktail blog having launched recently, I’ve found myself more motivated than ever to make, find, taste and write about drink, bartending and cocktail history and culture.

So, it’s with those ideas in mind that I’m relaunching this site. Starting with this year’s hunt, and continuing with future posts here about all the cocktail adventures in my life. I hope you’ll enjoy.
